With pleasure I welcome you to the Campus Development Department home page. The United Arab Emirates University is making every effort to serve the UAE community and cater to its needs by establishing the most modern environment and facilities for our UAEU students.

We are dedicated to providing quality support services and solutions to the University units; emphasizing full commitment to achieving the University’s goals and to creating adequate housing, a conducive learning environment and professional infrastructure resources to assist the University community in its performance as a prominent research university.

As we oversee development of the entire University campuses, we have the sole responsibility of all construction and facility Management processes in the University campuses. Through a coordinated approach, we are implementing an overall plan for development of the campuses with a view to creating the most favorable environment for the academic process, synchronizing the process of classrooms, lecture halls, equipping laboratories and other vital facilities. Additionally, we manage appropriate maintenance and landscaping of the university sites to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency and campus beautification.

I am proud to announce completion of the UAEU New Campus buildings, an extension of the existing Maqam Campus on the Al Ain-Abu Dhabi Highway in the area of an 80 hectares land grant from the Government of Abu Dhabi with a total floor built-up area around 320,000 Sq. meter Construction commenced during December 2006 to complete the project in three stages. Female Residences, Female Village, Female Academic and Shared Labs grouped in the Stage 1 buildings, the Crescent building which includes main Administration, Great Hall & Main Library buildings in Stage II, the Male Academic, and Male Village & Sports Facilities in Stage III.  All the amenities specified    in above three stages are relocated and now functions in the New Campus.
