Managing SPAM or "Spam Quarantine Folder"

Due to the large amount of spam e-mails coming to the University, UITS has to enforce very strict anti-spam policies. These policies will help reduce the amount of spam you receive in your University e-mail Inbox. This will save you time and make your Inbox easier to manage.

There may be occasions when a legitimate e-mail is tagged as spam, so we want to provide you the ability to access these messages. These e-mails will pose no danger to the system if they are released from your spam quarantine folder to your University e-mail inbox. They have all been scanned for viruses.

To start using this service, login to https://fmc.antispam.uaeu.ac.ae, when the login screen appears, enter your UAEU Email ID (userid@uaeu.ac.ae) and password.

From here, you can do one or more of the following:

  1. Release e-mail to your University e-mail inbox.
  2. Delete Message from your spam quarantine folder.
  3. Blacklist a message so that all future emails from the sender ARE NOT delivered.
  4. Whitelist a message so that all future emails from this sender ARE delivered directly to your University e-mail inbox.
