Senior Vice President and General Manager, ProQuest Workflow Solutions

Kevin Sayar, Senior Vice President and General Manager, ProQuest Workflow Solutions, leads the ProQuest business unit focused on opportunities to collaborate around e-books, discovery, data aggregation, library management and analysis services.

Formerly President and General Manager of ebrary^®, Mr. Sayar led the company from its conception in 1999 to its current position as a leading e-book provider to libraries worldwide. Mr. Sayar's was instrumental in building the high-growth business through the development of innovative research technologies such as DASH!^™ (Data Sharing, Fast) and InfoTools^™ and flexible acquisition models including patron driven acquisition and subscription. He has also brokered strategic partnerships with companies such as YBP, which has integrated ebrary within its digital and print book acquisition workflow.

Mr. Sayar previously worked for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), considered the U.S. leader in high technology start-up legal representation, and was an independent consultant to several start-up businesses. He holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
