Chief Financial Officer, ProQuest, LLC

Phil Evans, Chief Financial Officer, oversees all ProQuest's financial functions, including financial operations, accounting, procurement, facilities, treasury, taxation and investor relations.

Mr. Evans has more than 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. He joined ProQuest in 2008 initially as CFO of Bowker, a ProQuest affiliate and was appointed CFO of ProQuest in 2009. Prior to ProQuest, he was CFO of the privately-owned publishing company Marquis Who's Who and before that, he spent 16 years with the Reed Elsevier organization in various financial positions in the United Kingdom and United States. Notable roles included CFO of Martindale-Hubbell, a division of LexisNexis (2001-2006) and Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis and Controller of LexisNexis in Dayton (1997-2001). Prior to LexisNexis, Mr. Evans held several finance positions in the corporate headquarters of Reed Elsevier, including Corporate Finance Manager and Tax Manager. In his early career he trained as a U.K. chartered accountant and worked for seven years in public accounting in London, including a four-year period with Ernst & Young.

Mr. Evans is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and graduated from the University of Lancaster in England with a B.A. (Honors) in Accounting & Finance.
